Be careful before you pay

About 1,400 people have gone to Brazil with BMET clearance since 2025, many of whom later tried to enter the US illegally and were deported. In July 2026 the government said a proper work visa and full embassy verification would be mandatory before BMET clearance for Brazil — confirm the current rule with BMET.

  • Verify the agency's RL licence with BMET
  • Employer: Ministry of Justice residence authorisation and the company's CNPJ number
  • Have the Ministry of Justice authorisation and a VITEM V visa in my name
  • Verified the plant's name and city with the Bangladesh Embassy in Brasília
  • No payment without a receipt and written contract
