Bangladesh to Austria: pre-departure checklist
If you want to go to Austria for work the legal way, check this list before you pay anyone.

The most important rule
Do not pay any large amount before independently verifying the job, employer, visa and payment terms. An agency licence alone does not prove its Austria job offer is genuine.

3. Stop paying if you see these signs
Warning signs
- “100% visa guarantee” or “there are never any rejections”.
- Keeping the employer's name secret.
- Pressure to pay quickly without time to verify.
- Talking only on WhatsApp with no written contract.
- Asking you to start working on a visit/tourist visa.
- Repeatedly asking for more money without proof of approval or refund.
- Selling a “seasonal/hotel visa” — Austria's seasonal quota is small and usually goes to workers who worked there before.
- A “guaranteed Red-White-Red Card” without language or certificates.
4. A message you can send the broker
Copy into WhatsApp or SMS
Before starting the Austria work permit process, I would like to confirm a few things: 1. What is the Austria employer's company name, address and registration number? 2. Can I verify the job offer and the signed contract? 3. Through which process will the Red-White-Red Card (Skilled Workers in Shortage Occupations) be applied for? 4. Will you give me the official application number or online proof I can verify? 5. What is the total cost, the step-by-step payment, and the refund terms if the visa fails? 6. Can you give references of workers from Bangladesh who went to Austria successfully through you? I will decide on payment only after verifying all information and the contract.
Our advice
Before paying any agency, collect its name, RL licence number, the Austria company name and the total package price. With these you can check the risks one by one — or send them to us and we will review them with you.
